アメリカ合衆国テキサス州 Lubbock Cooper High School に留学中の 阿部　深月さんからの第２回目のレポートです。

 

第２回レポートテーマ：学校生活

こんにちは。テキサス州に留学中の阿部深月です。もう２回目のレポートなのかと正直とても驚いてます。みんなのレポート見てみたら、自分の短くて驚きました、、皆順調そうでみていて楽しかったです！

今回のテーマは学校生活についてという事ですが、、、留学の中で学校生活はとても大切な部分です。留学前、私は学校の事が不安で仕方ありませんでした。でも、友達を作るのは意外と簡単でした。皆　”日本”から来た留学生というところにとても食いついて来れるんです。質問されたものの中で一番驚いたのは、「日本では犬を食べるってほんと？」ですね、、、ほんとにビックリしました。

あとはやっぱりアニメですね！アニメは見ておいて損はないと思います！話題が増えるし、友達が増える！と思います。ただアメリカで人気のアニメと日本で今人気のアニメは少し違くてなぜだ！？って思いました！こっちでは犬夜叉が結構人気でとても嬉しいです。

次は授業について書きたいと思います。私は English3, US history, environmental system, geometry, introduction to culinary, digital art and animation, girls soccerを取っています。選択できる科目が沢山あって迷いましたがどの授業も楽しいです。難易度で言えばEnglish3とenvironmental systemが難しいです。知らない単語がそりゃもう沢山出てきます。English３では特に、本を読んだりするのでそれも大変です。それに日本でのリスニングとは比べ物にならないくらい単語が繋がってるので、聞き取るのも大変です。そのほかは今の所順調です！特にサッカーは楽しいです。筋トレやランニングなど今まで本格的にしたことの無いトレーニングが出来たり、できなっかた事ができるようになる事がとても楽しいです！あ、ユニフォームを受け取れたのが最近での嬉しかった事です！しかもそのユニフォーム少しコンサドーレのに似ているんですよ！嬉しいです。それと、スポーツをやる事でチームメイトが出来て学校がより楽しくなります。あとは本当に興味があるものをより知れる環境があるのはいい事だと思いましたし、自分で選択できる制度っていいですよね。とにかく、皆すっっっっっっごくいい人たちばかりです！困ったら聞くのが一番だと改めて思いました！

という事で今回はここら辺で締めたいと思います！読んでくれて有難うございます！

 

Hello! How are you doing guys! I’m Mitsuki Abe. I’m in Lubbock, Texas. I’m going to talk about my school life.

 

School life is important part in study abroad. My host school’s name is Lubbock Cooper high school, and I’m in 11th grade so I’m junior. My school is bigger than Hokusei. There’re about 4000 students in my host school. It’s really big! And there are lot of facilities like gym, band hall, and concert hall. Also there’re lot of hall room, really lot of hall room! Oh, hall room is like classroom. I was surprised. On my first school day, I could make friends so I was happy. My friends and teachers are very kind.  They teach me something about school, trend, and words when I don’t understand. Japanese anime is popular in America. I’m really happy.

 

Next, I’ll write about classes. I take English 3, US history, environmental system, geometry, introduction to culinary, digital art and animation, girls soccer. My favorite classes are digital art and animation, and girls soccer. The hardest class is English3. It’s hard because there are lot of difficult word. To read book is especially hard.  Girls soccer is hard class for me. However it’s really fun, and my teammates are really kind. I got uniform and the season will start in December. I’m excited. In my opinion, you should join sports class if you want to study abroad.

 

I have a lot of fun things at school. So I spend really good time everyday.
