アメリカに留学中の三宮　宝営さんから第一回目の留学報告が届きました。

お久しぶりです。三宮よしえです！

アメリカに来てもう３か月が経とうとしています。こっちに来てからは、あっという間に１日が終わってしまいます。まず、カリフォルニアでの研修の話を少し…一か月間の研修があったのですが、楽しいことも楽しくないことももちろんありました。でも、今回の研修を通して少しだけ心に余裕を持つことができて、新しい出会いもいっぱいあったのでいい思い出です。思ってた研修とは違う研修だったけど、ある意味今後のために役立つ研修でした！！

本当に少しになちゃった笑

次にラスベガスに着いてからです！
私のホストファミリーは両親ともにアジア人で、３歳と１０歳の妹がいます。ホームシックになる暇もないくらい、シスターたちのお世話とママのお手伝いで忙しいです。８月２９日から学校が始まって、最初の一週間くらいは友達できないし、授業といった授業でもなかったし、何よりも移動中に毎回迷子になってました。

私の学校は、移動時間が5分あって最後の1分前にwarning bell　がなるんですけど、それを聞いた瞬間に周りの人たちが走り出すので愛所はタイムセールみたいな感じでなかなか戸惑ったし、流れについていって全然違うクラスについてしまうことがたくさんありました。笑

しかも、私の学校は、朝の7時に始まって12時46分に終わるので朝めちゃくちゃ早起きしなくちゃいけなくて、今でも辛いのは毎朝起きることです、、

でも、ランチの前には家に帰れるのでお昼ご飯はお家で食べてます。最近になってやっと学校が楽しくなってきて、徐々に友達も増えてきました。一番嬉しい出来事が、最後のクラスが同じになった子の中に、アメリカ人と日本人のハーフの子がいて、その子と仲良くなりました！

一週間の中で、３回しか同じクラスのならないんですけど、あったらたくさん話したり、友達紹介してくれたりしてくれるんですよ

ここで、日本の学校と全く違うのが、時間割なんです！

私の学校は、月曜日にcommon dayと言って、一時間目から８時間目までのクラスに行って３８分の授業を受けます笑

火曜日と木曜日がodd dayと言って、奇数のクラスの授業を１時間20分受けて、水曜日と金曜日はeven dayで、偶数のクラスに行くんです！

だから、１日に４時間（？）しかないんですよ！笑

あと、トイレに行くときに、bathroom passというものをもらわないと、トイレに行けないんです！　ある意味面倒くさいですよね、、、

毎日毎日新しいことを発見するので、学校に行くのが楽しいです！

来週から、ホームカミングウィークが始まるので、曜日ごとに指定されたドレスアップをしなければいけないんです。

その、廊下のデコレーションをしたので、写真を載せておきますね！

これからどんどん、楽しいことが増えてくると思うので、また今度レポート出すときのために写真たくさんとって溜ます！！

あ、あと先週からコミュニティの中にあるジムに通い始めました～

Hi. This is Yoshie! It is almost going to be 3 months since I came here.

I will tell you a little bit about the month in California.

It wasn’t always fun but, it has a lot of things to learn.

I met a lot of new people and made a lot of good memories.

It wasn’t the thing that I was thinking but it was an enjoyable month!

After arriving Las Vegas, I met my host family here.  My host mom and dad are Asians and I have two little sisters.

I have never been homesick since I arrived here because, I am busy playing with my sisters.  My school started on the 29^th of August.  I had a hard time during the first few weeks.  I couldn’t make friends and I will get lost every single classes.

We only have 5 minutes to go to the next class, and we have a warning bell to warn us that we only have 1 more minute to be in our class room.  Everyone is going to run when they hear it, and if I will just follow the crowd I will reach to the room that I don’t know.  The thing that I’m still not use to it is that my school starts at 7 in the morning, so I need to get up early to reach there before 7.  Also, the school will finish at 12:46 before lunch.  I will usually eat my lunch at home.  I will be really hungry by the time I arrive home.  By the way I have a friend that is half Japanese.  She is really nice and we are having a same class at the 8^th period.  Oh the thing really different from the school in Japan and America is the schedule of the day. My school’s schedule is kind a wired.  On Monday it is the day that we need to attend the class from 1-8. We will only have the class for 38min.  On Tuesday and Thursday, we will only go to the odd period such as 1,3,5,7.  On Wednesday and Friday, we will go to the even period(2,4,6,8).

The class is 1hour and 20min long.  Another thing new for me in the school is we need to get a bathroom pass from the teacher before going to the bathroom.  We are not allowed to go ahead and go to the bathroom without the pass. I will find new everyday and I will have fun finding a new thing.  Next week is our homecoming week, and we need to dress up that the school decided by the day.  I decorate the hall way with some of my friend!!  I am having a lot of fun right now and hope I could show you more picture on the next report!!
