Hey guys. How’s it going?? How’s life?? I was sick recently, but now, I’m feeling good so don’t worry about it.
So anyway, 2 months have passed since I wrote report and 7 months have passed since I came here.
Time goes by super fast. I can’t believe it.
There are too many things I want to tell you. But this time, I’m going to talk about my birthday, Christmas and Chicago trips.
First, Guess what day is 12/21?! Answer is…My birthday!! I’m glad that I turned seventeen years old in America. It’s unforgettable for me. When I was waking up and went down stairs…I was surprised that there were many balloons and letters from students of host mother’s elementary school. I thought how my host mother is so sweet!! And I went to school and then also a lot of friends celebrated my birthday too!!! Especially, the biggest impression on me was my gym class. I didn’t know that everyone thought “how can we surprise her?” and my friend called me and when I went out, everyone made a circle and sang a birthday song to me:)) It was like really moving. I love my school so much!!
After school, my family took me to Japanese restaurant. I was surprised again because I didn’t even know that grandma, G.G and aunt were there and they sang a song when I entered the restaurant.
You know my family is super nice right?hahaha:)
Christmas is one of my greatest memories in my American life so far.
I’d say everyone should want to spend Christmas in America, so I want to tell you that my American Christmas was awesome and amazing… I got many presents and had a wonderful times with friends and family. Finally, Santa came over to my house!! I was so happy that I got a bunch of presents!! I wasn’t expecting to get that many presents, so I was surprised!!
Before Christmas, we watched many Christmas movies. I think this is one of America’s Christmas culture.( but I’m not sure ..lol) when I watched a Christmas movie in Japan, which was “Home Alone,” I thought I wanted to spend Christmas in America. So, I’m so happy that I could spend last Christmas here. My dream has come true!!lol
I went to Chicago for four days and three night last month. With my mom, aunt, and GG!! Chicago is my favorite place in America because there were many buildings which were so high and they looked expensive. I saw TRUMP tower!! It was super cool so I screamed!! Then I visited many sightseeing places, I went shopping, had a bus tour, and of course, Starbucks too!:)
Let me tell you all a story that I will never forget. We went to see “Dancing with the Stars”!!!!!! This is a very popular T.V. show in America and my favorite T.V. show!! It was sooo awesome because mom bought tickets very close to the stage!!!!! I will never forget that super cool and wonderful show.
Also, I could see my favorite person who is very cute and beautiful…!!!
I decided that I’ll go back to Chicago with Mom because when I walked down the street, I thought my mom would definitely love Chicago and I want to show her these beautiful things.:)
I’m very appreciative of my host family and friends! So, thank you so much for these awesome opportunities I’ve had!!
