カナダのマニトバ州、ジョン・テイラー高校に留学中の若井華純さんから第２回目の留学報告が届きました。

 

こんにちは！２回目のレポートです。私はホストファミリーと１０月９日から１２日コテージに泊まりました。ホストファザーの姉夫婦と彼女の娘夫婦と息子と彼の恋人も来ました。みんなで映画を見たりゲームをしたりすごく楽しかったです。ホストファザーの姉の夫がイタリア人ですごく面白い人でした。１２日は感謝の日でみんなでお祝いをする日です。私たちは七面鳥を食べてパーティーをしました。とても楽しい時間でした。みんな日本のことについて興味を持ってたくさん質問してくれました。みんなとたくさん話せてよかったです。

 

１０月２０日はホストシスターの誕生日でした。私は彼女に日本からのプレゼントをあげました。彼女はすごく喜んでハグをしてくれました。彼女は可愛くて優しい子です。次の日は私の誕生日でした。笑　私の友達が私のためにクッキーを作ってくれました。ホストペアレンツは冬用に手袋と帽子とマフラーをくれました。２８歳のホストシスターは可愛いパジャマをくれました。学校でもたくさんの友達が誕生日おめでとうかすみ！と言ってくれて幸せでした。

 

ハロウィンもすぐにやってきて忙しい日々でした。笑　ハロウィンでは、お菓子くれないといたずらするぞ！をしてたくさんの家に行きました。私はゾンビのメイクをしてみんな私のメイクに「すごい！ほんとに？どうやってやったの？」と言いました。１人の小さい男の子は私のメイクを見た後、走って逃げてしまいました。笑　私は予想外で混乱しました。笑　私はたくさんのお菓子をもらい幸せでした。ホストファミリーの家がすごくて驚きました。たくさんのハロウィングッズを飾ったりかぼちゃを彫刻したり。日本では、たいていあまりハロウィンを祝わないので貴重な体験でした。

 

私は日本人しか働いていない日本食の店に行きました。とても日本を感じました。そしてカナダに来て初めてホストファミリーに夕食を作りました。（日本食ではないですが笑）みんな気に入ってくれました。ホストマザーに「次は日本食を作ってね！笑」と言われました笑

 

ところでカナダは雪が降り始めました！今とても寒いです。学校では友達が増えて楽しく過ごしています。ダンスクラスでは毎日褒められます！私はバイオロジーが難しいので好きじゃありませんが先生が簡単なテストに変えてくれるので充実しています。土曜日のダンススタジオもとても楽しいです。新しい友達もできました。先生が毎週変わるのですがすべての先生のダンスが好きです。

ホストファミリーは一度も変わっていません。いい人たちだからです。これからも変わらないといいです！以上です！読んでくれてありがとうございます。

 

Hi! This is my second report. I went to the cottage from October 9th to 12th with my host family. My host father’s sister, husband, daughter couple, son and his girlfriend were all there. We watches movie and played games. It was so fun. My host father’s sister’s husband who is Italian is very funny.

 

On October 12th in Canada, they celebrate thanksgiving day, so we had turkey and party. I had great time. Everybody was interested in Japan and asked me many questions about Japan. I was glad to talk with them. On October 20th it was my little host sister’s birthday she turned 8. I gave her a present from Japan. She was glad and she gave me a hug lol She is pretty and good a girl.

 

The next day was my birthday! hahaha My friend made cookies for me. My host parents gave me mittens, a knit cap and a scarf for winter. My host sister who is 28 years old, she gave me pretty pajamas. At school, many my friends said to me “Happy birthday, Kasumi!!” I was so happy.

 

Halloween came soon on October 31,  it has been busy. For Halloween, I went trick or treating ! I applied special effects makeup and went as a zombie.  Many people told me I look awesome! Seriously? How did you do that?”haha One boy ran away after he saw my makeup lol I  became confused because of his reaction lol I was very happy as I got many snacks. I was surprised my host parents decorated the house and we carved pumpkins. In Japan, we usually don’t celebrate Halloween, so it was valuable experience.

 

I went to Japanese restaurant and only Japanese people work there. I felt like i was in Japan. On November 10th,  I made supper for my host family it was my first time ( it was not Japanese food lol) everybody liked it:)  My host mother said to me “please make Japanese food next time lol”haha

 

By the way, it started snowing here but it did not stay!! I’m so cold now.  In school, I made new friends! In dance class, I’m often praised by dance teacher.  I don’t like biology because it is difficult, my teacher changed my test , so I can solve it  lol  On Saturday’s I go to a dance studio for lessons, I made new friends and it lots of fun. My teacher changes every week but I like all my dance teachers !

 

I have not changed my host family because my host family is so good! I don’t want to change my host family from now on. lol That’s all. Thank you for reading. Bye!!
