みなさん、こんにちは！ユウミです。お元気でしたか？これが私の最後のレポートになります。レポートを読んで楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

はあ、なんだか信じられないのですが、10か月前に、私はここユタ州に来て新しい生活をスタートさせました。そして、その生活も残り4日で終わりとなりま す。帰国便の知らせを聞いたときにやっと、残された時間があとわずかであることに気づきました。アメリカでの残された生活をどう過ごすかということを今ま で以上に考えるようになりました。自分でできる限り楽しんだと思います！！

この留学生としての一年間は信じられないくらい素晴らしいく、一生忘れられない思い出となりました！！人生最高の年でした。本気でそう思っています。学 校、水泳チーム、友達、ホストファミリー、カリフォルニア旅行…。今年経験した素晴らしい時間のことをすべてこのレポートに書くことはできませんが、留学 生活の最後の最後まで本当に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。自分の英語力が格段にアップしたことに自分で驚いています。大げさに言うわけでなく、 １０か月前の私の英語力は本当に酷かったのですが、今ではその１００倍は成長したと思います。留学生としての生活はいつも楽しいというわけではありません でしたが、留学したことに一切の後悔はありません。今年はたくさんの人たちに出会うことができました。すべての出会いに感謝しています。特に、ヴァーナル （私が住んでいるところです）での出会いに感謝しています。私が素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができたのは、ここで出会った人たちがいつも素敵な人たちだっ たからです。彼らのお蔭で、私の留学生活が素晴らしいものになりました。そして、カリフォルニアではたくさんの世界中からアメリカに留学してきている留学 生と出会いました。カリフォルニア旅行は、今年のお気に入りの思い出のうちの１つとなりました。一週間学校を休んで、カリフォルニアで色々なところに行 き、日本人の友達に会い、他の留学生と色々なことを経験しました。全てのことが私にとって、かけがえのないものです。世界中から来たこんなにも多くの人た ちと友達になることができたなんて信じられません。

みんなとお別れをしてここを発たなければいけないのは本当に辛いです。別れがこんなに辛いと思うのはきっと私がアメリがで素敵な体験をしたからです。何歳になっても、ここで経験したことすべてを決して忘れることはないでしょう…。

それでは、プロムの話をさせてください。前のレポートで書いた通り、男の子からプロムに一緒に行こうと誘われました。プロムデートでハイキングに行って、 ランチを食べて、着替えて、写真を撮って、ディナーを食べて、そしてプロムのダンスをしました。日本ではプロムはありませんから、プロムはアメリカらしい 素敵な経験でした！！

最終週に、“アラビアンナイト”という学校のまた別のダンスがありました。そのダンスパーティーは私の留学生活の中で最後のものとなりました。ダンスの前 の週にダンスに一緒に行こうと誘われました。素敵！誰かに誘われるといつもとっても嬉しくなっちゃいますね。誰かに誘われると幸せでいっぱいになります （笑）。

デートでは、ドーナツ屋に行って朝食を食べて、ボーリングに行きました。私はボーリングは苦手なんですが、いいスコアが取れました！ランチにピザを食べ て、ゴルフに行きました。ゴルフも苦手なんですけどね（笑）。そして、ダンスの衣装に着替えて、ディナーを食べて、ダンスに行きました！今回のダンスは、 プロムほど派手なものではありませんでした。ですから、私たちはカジュアルなドレスを着ました。カジュアルなドレスが着られてうれしかったんですよ。前回 のプロムでは、ドレスで踊ったりするのが大変でしたし、ハイヒールも履かなければいけなかったんです。プロムの時は大変でした。でも今回は、そうしたこと を気にすることなく踊ることができました（笑）。

それと、友達がボートに連れて行ってくれました。朝は晴れていたんですが、いざボートに乗る時にはひどい土砂降りになりました！その後、お風呂に入って、“ピッチパーフェクト２”を見に行きました！日本での公開前の映画を観ることができてうれしかったです（笑）！

昨日は最後の登校日で、卒業式がありました！私はこの学校を卒業するわけではないので、フットボールフィールドに入ることはできませんでした。ですが、学校が私もシニアのみんなとの写真に入れてくれたので、とてもうれしかったです！

卒業式の後、友達に行ってディナーを食べました。ディナーの後、“グラッドナイト”というシニアのためのパーティーに行きました。私たちは学校で夜の９時から朝の６時までたくさんのゲームをしました。ちょっと異常ですよね。でも、楽しかったです！

…レポートが異常に長くなってしまいました。もしかしたら、私のレポートにうんざりしている人もいるのではと思います。それでは日本でお会いしましょう！アメリカでの残りの生活も楽しもうと思います！

Hi guys! It’s Yumi. How are you guys doing? So this is my last report. Please enjoy my last report.

Well…I can’t believe that 10 months ago, I came to Utah to start new my life and it’s gonna be end in 4days… After got information of my flight, I realized that I don’t have enough time. And I was thinking how can I enjoy my lest of my American year more than before. I think I enjoyed as much as I can!!  

Anyway, this year was incredibly awesome and unforgettable!! The best year in my entire life. I’m not even kidding. School, swim team, friends, family and California trip… I can’t describe how much I spent great time through this year and I’ve had so much fun to the very end. I amazed that my English skills improved a lot. Literally, my English was terrible 10 months ago but now it’s way times 100 better. (I guess I hope) Though to be an exchange wasn’t fun every time, I regret nothing to be an exchange student. In this year, I met a lot of people. I’m thankful for every encounters. Especially in Vernal (where I live). Why I was able to had great time is people were always nice. They made my year quite good. And in California I met bunch of exchange students from all over the world. California trip was one of my favorite memory of this year. Went to everywhere in California, met my Japanese friends, shared own experiences with other exchange students and missed school whole week. Everything was precious for me… I wasn’t able to imagine that I have so many friends from all over the world!! 

It’s quite hard to say good bye and leave here. Which means I had so many great great experiences in America. I’m not gonna forget anything… Even though I getting older and older.

Okay so let me talk about Prom next. As you know I was asked to go to prom by boy. So, we went to hiking for prom date and ate lunch, got ready, took pictures, ate dinner and we had prom dance. We don’t have prom in Japan therefore it was my great experience which represents America!! 

And last week, I had another school dance which was called “Arabian night”. It was my last dance party in my entire life. I got ask to the dance a week before dance. It was so cute! Getting ask is always makes me super happy. I was full of happiness when I got ask haha 

For date, we went to donuts shop to get breakfast and then we went to bowling. Though I’m suck at bowling I got great score! And we ate pizza for lunch and we went to golfing. I’m suck at golfing also though haha. Then we got ready to go to dance, and ate dinner and we went to dance! This time, it wasn’t as fancy as prom and something like that. So we wore casual dress. I was so happy to wear casual dress because last time at prom, I had to take care of my dress, had to put high heels. These killed me all time… But this time I didn’t have to care about those problems. Haha

Oh! And also last week, my friends took me boating. It was sunny day in morning but when we started boating, it started hailing!!!! It was horrible! But after that, we got in hot tub and went to watch “Pitch perfect 2”!!!
What makes me happy is can watch new movie before come up to Japan!! Haha

And yesterday was my last day of school and also we had graduation! I wasn’t able to graduate this school so that I wasn’t able to walk on football field. But my school let me take picture with all Seniors so I was still happy! 

After graduation, I went to my friend’s house to eat dinner with her. After dinner we went to party for all senior which is called “Grad night”. We just played lots of game at school at 9:00pm to 6:00am. It was insane! I loved that!

Well… This report is super long and some people might sick of my report. So See you in Japan! I’m going to enjoy my rest of American life!!!
