アメリカに留学中の鳥谷部　秋さんから第二回目の留学報告が届きました。

　お久しぶりです！鳥谷部秋です。この４カ月間学校が始まったり、イベントがたくさんあって濃い日々を送っていました。毎日授業を受けてクラブをして帰って宿題をしたらもうクタクタで大変ですが充実してます。 

　ずいぶん昔のことになりますが学校始まりました。私の学校は４学期制で今は２学期でus history, wood, food, creative writing(English) をとっています。とにかくus history が全然わかりません。家に帰った後の時間はほとんどus history に取られてます。テストもすごい勉強しても全然いい点が取れないので宿題とかで頑張ってカバーしてます。次の学期もあるので少しずつでもいい点が取れるように頑張ります。１学期もfoodの授業をとってたんですが、その時に友達が「あきに日本食のレシピ持ってきてもらって作ろうよ！」と先生に提案してくれてみんなでみたらし団子を作りました。そこまでおいしくはなかったんですけどみんな「いいレシピをありがとう！」と言ってくれて嬉しかったです。

　ちょっと前にsenior pictureといyear book(卒業アルバムみたいなもの)に載る写真を提出しなきゃいけなくてその話をしていたら、友達が「私がメイクして髪もストレートにして素敵な写真撮ってあげるよ！私のiphone カメラ最強だから！」と言って次の日に準備をして車でいくつかの場所を回って撮ってもらいました。笑わないで！と言われて何度も笑ってしまって撮るのが大変でした。いい写真も撮れたしとても楽しかったです。

　Homecoming, Halloween, thanksgiving, winter formal, がありました。まずhomecoming は１週間、テーマにそった服装をして行くのですが、私の学校はやってない人が多くて少し残念でした。そして最後の日はフットボールの試合を見に行ったんですが寒すぎて途中で友達と車に戻ってあったまってました。その後bonfireというキャンプファイアーみたいなのがあり、火を囲んで友達とたくさん話しました。

　Winter formal　はプロムとかと同じようなダンスです。その日に向けて留学生の友達と買い物に行ったりしました。当日は準備をしてみんなで写真を撮りにいくつかの場所を回って、ディナーを食べてから学校に行きました。学校ではみんなで12時まで踊りまくりました。その後友達の家でお泊まりをしたんですが、Wii のjust dance をトーナメント制でやって、最下位になってしまい、みんなに「あきダンサーだよね⁉なんで⁉」と言われてしまいました笑その後映画を見ながらみんな途中で寝てしまいました。とっても楽しかったです。

　クリスマスにはファミリーとフロリダ旅行に行きます。そのことはまた次のレポートで書きますね。あと、チアリーディングに入ってそのことも書きたかったんですけど長くなってしまったのでそれも次のレポートで書こうと思います。

hi guys, how are you doing? I’m Aki from Bemidji. I had deep days this 4 months.

  School has started. I’m taking US history, wood, food, and creative writing. I really don’t like history, and I am spending a lot of time of afterschool to study it. I study hard for the tests but I can’t get good score, so I’m working hard on homework　to cover my grade. I have history on next quarter too, so I’ll do my best. On the food class, my friend suggested “how about cook Japanese food from Aki’s recipe” and then we cooked “Mitarashi dango”, and they said “thank you for good recipe Aki” to me. It made me happy.

  I took a senior picture for year book. My friend made up on me and took pictures. We could take good pictures and it was so fun.

  I had homecoming, Halloween, thanksgiving, and winter formal. On homecoming, we supposed to wear the outfit along the theme, but a lot of people didn’t. It was kind of sad. We went to football game but I was in the car with my friends in the middle of the game because it was too cold. After that we had bonfire and I talked a lot.

 We dressed up, took many pictures, ate dinner, and danced on the day of formal. it was so fun. After dance, we had sleepover and we did “just dance” like tournament. I was the cellar. My friends said “what!? You are dancer right!?” I was like “yes… I think so. But you guys are good dancers better than me…?” it was weird but so fun.

  I’m going to go to Florida on Christmas! I’m so excited. I will write about that next report. And I wanted to write about cheerleading but if I did it would be long, so I will write it next report too.
