アメリカに留学中の伊達　瞳さんから第三回目の留学報告が届きました。

あけましておめでとうございます！伊達瞳です。レポートの提出が遅くなってごめんなさい。2017年ですね！ミネソタは時間がニューヨークよりも一時間遅いので家族でテレビの前に集まって2016年の11時おめでとう！！とお祝いをしました。驚いたのは、元日にクリスマスパーティーをしたことです。日本とアメリカの文化の違いを感じました。私はプレゼントでチェキを貰ったのが一番嬉しかったです。これからこのカメラでたくさんの写真を撮りたいです。

前回のレポートにも書きましたが、今私はノルディックスキー部に所属しています。もともとスキーは嫌いですが、ノルディックスキーは急な坂を下ることはないので楽しく活動できています。今では筋肉で脚が太くなって日本で買って行った一番細いジーンズがきつく感じるようになりました。先週は友達と６人でスケートに行きました。スキーよりスケートの方が楽しかったです。その後に食べ放題の中華料理屋さんで夜ご飯を食べることができて幸せでした。それにチップを含めても15ドルという安さで留学生のお財布にやさしいお店でした。冬休み中はファミリーとスノーシューイングをしたり、スコーンを作ったり、DVD鑑賞をしたりゲームをしたりして遊んだりいろいろなことをしました。そして私のアメリカでの生活が残り約4か月半になりました。5か月目くらいからホームシックになり母とたくさん電話をしたので今は少し落ち着きました。6月には帰りたくなくても帰らなければならないので残りの時間を存分に楽しもうと思います！
 
 
Happy New Year!  It’s Hitomi.  I’m sorry for the delay in the report.  It’s 2017! Minnesota is an hour behind New York, so we sat in front of the TV, and we celebrated the 2016’s 11 o’clock that adjust to New Year of New York.  I was surprised by we had a Christmas party at the New Year day.   I felt difference between Japanese and American culture.  Mr. Santa gave me an instant camera as a Christmas present for me.  I’m so happy!!  I want to take lots of pictures with this camera.
As I wrote in the last report, I belong to the Nordic Skiing.  I hate skiing, but Nordic Skiing doesn’t have to down the steep hill, so I’m enjoying it.  Now my legs are getting thick with muscles.  I became to feel jeans tight which I bought in japan.  By the way, I went to skating with my friends last week.   I think skating is more enjoyable than skiing.  After that, we went to the Chinese food buffet.  It was a wallet-friendly for exchange student because it was only 15 bucks.  I ate too much.  During the winter vacation I went to snowshoeing, making scones, watching DVDs, taking pictures, and play game a lot with my family and friends.  And my life which in the U.S. is only 4 months and half left.  When 5 months had passed since I came here, I became homesick, but I called up my mother, so I’m okay now.  I must go back to japan in June, so I want to enjoy my rest of the time!
