アメリカに留学中の大村　芽衣さんから第三回目の留学報告が届きました。

皆さんこんにちは！お元気ですか？

まず、小学校でのプレゼンテーションについて話します。先月、私のコーディネーターから｢小学校で母国を紹介するプレゼンテーションをしてもらえない？｣という依頼を受けました。私は、生徒達に日本について知ってもらう良い機会になると思ったのでもちろん受け入れました。プレゼンテーションの中で私は日本語の挨拶をいくつか教えたりアメリカの小学校と日本の小学校の違いについて話しました。みんな沢山質問をしてくれ、クイズにも積極的に参加してくれてこんなに楽しかったプレゼンテーションは初めてと思うくらい本当に楽しいプレゼンテーションでした。

 

次に、モンタナ州での旅行について話します。私はモンタナ州の州都に行き、そこで五日間過ごしました。私は州都の建物、温泉やモンタナ州のグッツが沢山あるお土産屋さんなど様々な場所を訪れました。州都の建物は、内装がとてもきれいで印象に残っています。その中でも最も楽しかった事はグレートディバイド山でのスノーボードです。なんと山の頂上からはロッキー山脈が見えました！とっても綺麗でした。ロッキー山脈を見るのは初めてだったので見ることが出来てとても嬉しかったです!モンタナ州に住んでいる人は毎日そんな美しい景色が見ることが出来るのでうらやましいです。私はこの旅の思い出にロッキー山脈Tシャツを買いました。

 

先週、私の家族とサウスダコタ州へ行き二日間キャビンに泊まりました。キャビンはとても大きくて綺麗でログハウスのようでした。三月十七日はSt. Patrick’s Daｙ でした。私たちは緑の帽子を被って写真を撮ってお祝いしました。楽しかったです。その後にトランポリンパークに行きました。そこには沢山のトランポリンがあって床が一面トランポリンになっているところで私は家族とたくさんの子供たちとドッジボールをして遊びました。普段のドッジボールとは全然違ってとても楽しかったです。その後なんと、家族がラシュモア山を見に連れて行ってくれました!　実は、ラシュモア山を見ることは私の夢の一つだったので、夢が叶いとても嬉しかったです！実物はとても迫力があり、私は数分間ラシュモア山の美しい景色に魅了されました。この先も絶対に忘れない良い思い出になりました。

 

最後に、私は今月から陸上を始めました。私は今まで運動部に所属したことが無かったのですが、何か新しい事に挑戦したいと思っていたので陸上を始める事が出来て嬉しいです。練習は放課後毎日あります。練習はハードですが楽しんで頑張っています。運動不足過ぎて最初の一週間は毎日足が筋肉痛でしたが今はもう慣れました。私はみんなで助け合ったり、励まし合って活動する陸上部が好きです。これからも上達出来るよう頑張ります!

          

私は大好きなホストファミリーと毎日本当に楽しく過ごしています。もっと長くここいられたらいいのにと思いますが二ヶ月後に日本に帰る事はすでに決まっている事で、誰も時間を止める事は出来ないので、私はここでの生活を最大限に楽しもうと思います!ここまで読んでいただきありがとうございました。ではまた次のレポートで！

 

Hello everyone! How are you doing?

First, I’ll talk about presentation in Elementary School. I got a presentation request from my coordinator the other day. I thought that would be a great chance for students to get to know about Japan. I taught some Japanese greeting and talked about difference of between Japanese Elementary School and American Elementary School. It was my first time having such a fun presentation.

 

Next, It’s about trip in Montana state. I went to capital city of Montana with my teacher and I spent five days in there. I visited various places such a Capital building, Hot spring and Gifts shop. Inside of Capital building was so pretty and fancy. My most enjoyable thing this trip was Snowboarding in Great Divide Mountain. I could see Rocky Mountain from peak of mountain. That was so beautiful. I have never seen Rocky Mountain before this time, so I was very excited! I thought people that living in Montana are lucky, because they are able to see that beautiful view every day. I bought Rocky Mountain T-shirt for memory of this trip.

 

I went to South Dakota with my family last week.  We stayed in cabin for two days. That was huge and so pretty like log house.  March seventeenth was St. Patrick’s Day. So we celebrated in the morning.  We put on green hat and took pictures.  That was fun.  We went to Jump Craze. (Trampoline Park) I played dodgeball on the trampoline with my family and other many children. It was so much fun.  After this, we visited to Mount Rushmore! I was so happy because my dream has come true.  Actually, seeing The Mount Rushmore was one of my dreams. That was very impressed!  I was entranced by the beautiful scene for a few minutes.  This is a memory that I will not forget for the rest of my life.

 

I stated Track from this month. I have never tried track, but I wanted to try something. I have practice after school every day. It is very hard, but I’m enjoying. First week, I had pain in my legs every day, but I used to it now.  I like track because we are helping and encouraging each other. I’ll keep trying!

                 

I’m really enjoying every day.  I love my family so much. I wish I could stay more, but I know I have to go back to Japan.  And no one can stop time, so I’ll enjoy as much as I can!  Thank you for reading. See you soon…
