カナダに留学中の 但馬　良奈さん から第四回目の留学報告が届きました。

 

カナダのアルバータ、コールドレイクに留学している但馬です。もういよいよカナダ生活も1ヵ月を切りました。　先週友達にいつ帰っちゃうんだっけ?と聞かれてnext month と答えましたが、その友達は気づいていました、来月ではなくもう今月に迫っていることに。いいな、もうnext monthじゃなくてthis monthだよって言われてやっと気づきました。もう1ヵ月ないということに！カナダにきた最初の1ヵ月はまだあと10か月もあると思う日もありましたが、時間が経つのが早すぎてびっくりです。さて今回のレポートでは前回のレポートでも書いたようにバンドのtripで行ったTorontoのことについて書きたいと思います。5/17～21までの4泊5日のtripで、初日は朝の5時に起きて学校に集まりそこから空港へ行き4時間のフライトでトロントにつきました。この日はそのままホテルに着き,早くに寝て明日に備える予定でしたが私の部屋のルームメイト達はもちろん寝かせてくれるわけもなく朝の3時まで喋って集合時間の20分前に起きてuniversity of Torontoへ向かいました。そこではオーケストラに所属しているオーボエ奏者に指導してもらいました（tripの中で唯一band tripらしいこと1つ目）、次に近くにあるRoyal Ontario Mseum という大きな博物館に行きました。動物のブースや天然石のブース、植物のブース、音楽のブース、いろんなブースに分かれていて途中トラブルもありながらも楽しめました。次に向かったのはカナダでナイアガラの滝に有名なCN Tower 2時間ほど並んで頂上まで行き、床がガラス張りになっているところを歩いて、ガラス張りになっているエレベーターでおりました。高さは５５３でスカイツリーより少し低いけどカナダの名所を１つ回れたのでよかったです。この日のディナーはMedieval Times というtheatreで馬のショーを見ながらどんどん運ばれてくる料理を食べました。ワイルドなとこででかいチキン運ばれてきてもナイフとかフォークとかっていうものはなく手づかみで食べないといけないところで、手を汚したくなかった私はフォークあるか聞いてみたけど手づかみがここのスタイルとか言われて手で食べました（笑）馬のショーはとても迫力があって面白かったです、日本でいう騎馬戦の本物の馬バージョンみたいなのもありました。9：30にショーが終わりホテルに戻り、この日もちろん早く寝れるわけもなく3時間睡眠くらいで次の日を迎えました。この日はcanada’s wonderlandという日本でいうディズニーランドよりもっと大規模のところに朝から向かい前半はfestivalsで曲を演奏して（tripの中で唯一band tripらしいこと2つ目）をしてそのあとはグループごと自由行動でいろんなタイプのジェットコースターに乗って吐きそうになりながらも満喫しました。たくさん歩き回って、食べて、酔っての一日でした。5時間程の自由時間を終えて、ディナーに向かいました。この日のディナーはhard rock cafeというとこでした。その後Strictly Ballroomというミュージカルを見にシアターに向かいました。見終わった後もミュージカルの中で使われていた曲がしばらく頭から離れませんでした（笑）この日も夜遅くにホテルについて、部のにいたクモと闘いながら一日が終わりました。次の日、いよいよカナダの名所、ナイアガラフォールズ!!　船に乗って滝のすぐそばまで近づいてずぶぬれになり、途中少しだけアメリカに入りました。（ナイアガラの滝はアメリカとカナダの境にあるので）そのあとは一旦ホテルに戻って夜の8時からトロントの街を散策しながらショッピングしてほとんどのお店はもうしまっていたのでスタバに寄ってホテルに戻りました。この日の夜は隣の友達の部屋の天井に血がついてるってなって（泊まったホテルレビューを調べてみると星2.5でした笑）結局この日の夜も長くなり、最終日を迎えます。　最終日の朝は日曜日だったのでみんなで近くの教会にいきました。そのあとはモールに行って2時間の自由時間を一緒に行動していた6人みんながそれぞれ行きたいところを順に回って集合時間ぎりぎりまでショッピングして最後はみんなで走ってなんとか集合時間に間に合いました（笑）その後は空港に行き4時間のフライトを経てコールドレイクに戻ってきました。このtripでさらに仲良くなった友達、初めて話した友達ともあと1ヵ月も一緒に過ごせないと思うと悲しいけど残りの留学生活を楽しもうと思います。昨日、やっと荷物を3箱日本に送りましたが、その時驚いたのが中身の価値によって送料が変わることです。日本だと荷物の重さで送料が決まるけどカナダでは中身の大体の価値で送料が変わってくることを知りました。それと28日の土曜の夜中にオーロラを見ました‼!!!夜の10時にアラートが鳴って見れる確率が97％になっていることをファザーから聞いて暗くなるまで待ってみようということになり夜中の1時に家の庭からはっきり見え始めたのでファザーと光の少ないとこまでドライブして夜中の3時まで粘ってずっと空見続けてたら黄緑だけでなく紫、ピンク、黄色、白などのいろんないろのオーロラを見れました。急に出てきて消えてまた急に出てきての繰り返しで、時間を忘れさせるぐらい特別な時間でした。ファザーもあんなカラフルではっきりしたオーロラは久しぶりに見たといってました。帰国前に見れてほんとによかったです。写真じゃちゃんと伝わらないけど載せておきます‼　最後まで読んでくれてありがとうございます。あと２０日間ファイナルイグザムもあるので最後まで気を抜かず過ごしたいと思います：）

hi,guys. this is iina from canada, AB, cold lake. I have 1 more month, actually not months only 25 days till back to Japan. Last week, my friend asked me when are you gonna back to Japan? So I answered next month. but she knows, not next month, it’s this month. Finally I noticed omg I don’t have even 1 month, what the hell. my first 1 month when I came here, that was kinda long, I felt like I have 10 more months. But now, where did time go? Anyway, I wanna share about my Band Toronto trip with you guys. May 17, I woke up at 5 and went to school with my suitcase and instrument. We headed to Edmonton Airport. we fought to Toronto, it took 4 hrs. we arrived at the hotel at like before 10pm. I was going to bed earlier but you know, my hotel roommate didn’t let me sleep, so we got only 4 or 5 hrs to sleep. next morning, I went to university of Toronto for clinic. and after that we went to Royal Ontario Museum which is so huge! They have lots of kind of booth which is animal, plants, crystal, and history of music. we got a little trouble but that was still fun. that evening, guess what we went to CN Tower which is famous next to Niagara Falls. i was waiting like 2 hrs for go to top of the tower that was 553m. they have glass floor that was so cool. next, we went to Medieval Times which is dinner theater. there is horse show like real cavalry battle that was so awesome and impressive. Dinner was so wild because it didn’t allow to use spoon or folk! even I had big grilled chicken。Show was over at around 9:30 pm. then backed to hotel. Of course I didn’t have enough time to sleep this night too.lol Next day, I went to Canada’s Wonderland which is like Disneyland Canada ver. That was so huge place! I played some songs with my band member there. After that  I rode lots of attraction including jet coaster before i ate lunch and after lunch. after lunch, I was almost puking lol that was lots of  fun though. after that I went to hard rock cafe for dinner. I had to eat quick because musical’s curtain was coming which is Strictly Ballroom that was great:) that night, I found spider in my hotel room, me and my roommates searched review of this hotel and it said star 2.5 lol oh okay that’s make sense. Next day, that was such a beautiful day, I went to Niagara Falls!! and I rode ferry and went to bottom of the falls here was like raining. That was so neat!  At the time, I went to America a little bit meaning Niagara Falls locates between America and Canada. Then we backed to hotel then after a while we took a stroll through the streets of Toronto, most stores were closed because at the time like over 8pm, so we decided to go to Starbucks lol that was great and fun time anyway:) this night my friends found bloods on their room’s wall lol what the heck lol but you know star 2.5 so lol Last day of this trip, we went to church (because my school is catholic school and Sunday) after that we got free time at the mall! my group had 6 people so we had to go to store which is each people want to go lol we had to rush lol then obviously we made it but that was close lol finally we backed to cold lake on sunday midnight. through this trip, I made a new friend and more closer, so I’m kinda sad because I spend the time with these guys for only few weeks, so I wanna make more memories and I wanna enjoy my canadian life with my sweet friends and my sweet host family.  Anyway, I sent my 3 packages to Japan and I found out how much is gonna be cost is depends on worth of what is inside. In Japan, depends on weight right? so i was kinda surprised. Lastly, I saw AURORA (28 midnight) OMG. 10pm, alert rang and it said chance is 97%, I heard that from my host dad and we decided to wait and see. We waited with watching movie and when I came to kitchen for grab my drink, I checked outside from the balcony omg I saw that (1am), I run into house and I called dad. we headed to hill this is because there is no lights. AURORA came up suddenly and gone suddenly they were dancing, there were green, yellow, purple, white, and pink etc. me and dad didn’t notice it was 2 or 3 in the morning. that was such a special gift before I left here. thanks CANADAAAAAA. my last big events,  final exams and leaving are coming.
