瀧本 帆夏の留学レポート

私は一か月間オーストラリアのアデレードに留学してきました。オーストラリアでの生活は、とても楽しく貴重な経験になりました。

 

まずは、私のホストファミリーについてお話したいと思います。私のホストファミリーは、マザーと６歳のシスター、１歳のブラザーでした。マザーはとてもやさしい人で、マザーの作る料理はすごくおいしかったです。また、オーストラリアの動物についてや、気候についてなどたくさん教えてくれました。会話の中で英語が理解できなかった時には、写真を見せてくれたりして分かるまで説明してくれました。この時間はとても楽しく、ありがたかったです。ホストシスターは、本当にかわいくて毎日一緒に塗り絵をしたり、絵をかいたり、映画を見たり、トランポリンをしたりいろいろなことをして遊びました。折り紙をとても気に入ってくれて、持って行った折り紙を使い切り、買い足すくらい毎日折っていました。（笑）夜寝るときには、マザーが絵本を読んでくれて、読み方がすごく面白く毎日シスターと大笑いしました。

ブラザーはやんちゃで、食事の時には毎日泣いていました。たまにいたずらもしていましたが、いつも本やおもちゃを私のところに持ってきて遊んでと、うったえてきてくれるのが本当にかわいかったです。毎日学校から帰って、ブラザーとシスターと遊ぶ時間は、本当に楽しくて、癒されました。私は、留学に行く前とても不安になっていましたが、ホストファミリーのおかげで不安になる暇なんてなくいくらい、とても幸せな日々を過ごすことができました。ホストファミリーには本当に感謝しています。

 

次に学校についてです。私は、Roma Mitchell secondary school という学校に通いました。学校は、家からバスで20分くらいのところにあり、できたばかりなのか、とても綺麗でした。学校の先生はとても優しく、いろいろな場面で助けてくださいました。私は、友達ができるかとても心配していましたが、学校へ行くと、ベトナムの女の子たちが話かけてきてくれて、すぐに仲良くなれました。毎日一緒にランチを食べたり、わからないことがあれば親切に教えてくれました。学校のキャンティーンは、その場で作ったあったかい物を売っているので、とても美味しく毎日買ってしまいました。留学中に食べた物はどれも美味しくて太ってしまい、少し後悔しています。授業中は、Hanという女の子とほとんどの授業で席が隣で、多くの時間を一緒に過ごしました。Hanは授業中に絵をかいて見せてきたり、ベトナム語の発音を教えてくれたり、ふざけていたずらしてきたり、とても面白くかわいい女の子でした。

私は、オーストラリアで取った授業の中で、体育が一番好きでした。なぜなら、話したことがない人でも、ハイタッチをしたり、やり方を聞いたりするうちにたくさんの人とコミュニケーションを取れて、仲良くなれるからです。私は、オーストラリアに来て、色々な人と関わりを持つことはとても大切だなと思いました。オーストラリアでできた友達は、みんな優しくて一緒にいた時間は本当に楽しかったです。

 

 

休日には、友達とビーチやワイルドパーク、シティーに行ったり、ファミリーとプレイグランドに行ったりしました。どれも本当に楽しくて、最高の思い出になりました。

 

私の初めての留学は、日本ではできないたくさんの事を経験でき、一生忘れられないものとなりました。また、留学での幸せな生活を通して、もっと英語を話せるようになって自分が思ったことをしっかり伝えられるようにりたいとすごく思いました。また機会があれば、オーストリアに行きたいです。

I studied abroad in Adelaide, Australia for a month. Living in Australia was a lot of fun and valuable experience.

 

First, I want to talk about my host family. My host family is member of three, mother, sister of six years old, and brother of one year old. Mother is very kind and dishes that she makes was very delicious. Also, she taught me a lot about Australian animal and climate in Australia. When I couldn’t understand English in a conversation, she explained it until I understood by showing a picture. This time was really fun and glad of the opportunity to talk.

Host sister was really cute and every day, we played a lot of things, such as painting, drawing, watching movies and trampolines together. Also, she loved origami so much that she fold it every day and we made a lot such as lollipop, little box. It was really fun. When we sleep at night, mother read a picture books to us, how to read it was very interesting and laughed with sister every day.

Brother was naughty and he cried every day at mealtime. He sometimes pranked however, it was really cute to always bring books and toys to me and requesting to play with me.

After went back to home from school, the time to play with brother and sister was really fun and healed. I was very worried before I went to study abroad however, thanks to my host family. I was able to spend happy days without any time to worry. I appreciate my host family.

 

Next, I want to talk about school. I went to school called Roma Mitchell secondary school.

This school was about 20 minutes by bus and, very big and clean. Teachers was always very kind and they helped me in various situations. I was very anxious about to make friends, but when I went to school, Vietnamese talked to me and I could became friends with them.

We eat lunch together every day. They kindly tell me if I have any questions. The school canteen sells hot food which prepared here, so it was delicious and I bought it every day. Therefore I regret a little that I got fat because everything I eat while studying abroad was delicious. In almost class, the seat was next to the girl who called Han. Duling the class, she draw and showed pictures, taught me how to pronounce Vietnamese, and pranked me. It was very cute and interesting.

My favorite subject which I took in Australia was P.E because if we have never talk with them, we can communicate and become close while doing high touch and playing. I thoughtAll the friends I made in Australia was kind and the time which we spent together was really fun! After I came to Australia, I thought it was important to have relationship with various people.

 

On holidays, I went to beaches, wild parks and cities with friends and to the playground with my family.  All were fun and great memories.

 

My first study abroad experience has made me a lot of things I can’t do in Japan, and I have never forget it.  Then, I wanted to be able to speak more English through the happy life of studying abroad so that I could communicate what I thought.
