アメリカに留学中の船木　姫麻李さんから第三回目の留学報告が届きました。

早くも3回目のレポートになってしまいました…　留学していて常に思っていることが１年なんかじゃ全然足りません(笑)　びっくりするくらいすごいスピードで時間が過ぎていきます。留学を控えている4年生、これうそじゃないよ(笑)
                   
さて、前回のレポートからまたまたたくさん出来事がありまして、何を書いたらいいのか…(笑)　まあ一番はクリスマスですね。雪のないクリスマスは初めての経験でした。クリスマスツリーの下にたくさんのプレセントが置いてあって、毎日妹と”これはなんだろう”や”この一番でかいのは誰のだ？”なんてはなしていました。家族みんなで家中装飾もしました。クリスマス当日は６時起きです(笑)　みんなでプレゼントを開けてワイワイしていました。パパとママにもプレゼントがあるのがすごい微笑ましかったです。みんなのイベントって感じで。でも、驚いたことに、クリスマスディナーにケーキがないのです。まあそれでもたくさん美味しいものがあって食べ過ぎましたけど(笑)　年明けは笑っちゃうくらいあっさりしていました。友達の家に遊びにいって、ゲームしたり、話しているうちにハッピーニューイヤー!!!って感じです。毎年楽しみにしている「ガキ使」が異常に恋しかったです(笑)
　そして新年が明けたかと思えばすぐ学校です。４日から学校が始まりました。新しい学期になり、時間割も変わったので新しい教室、新しい友達とすごいワクワクした気分でした。本当に心の底から思うことが、みんな優しい….(涙)本当に優しいんです!!!年齢関係なくどうしてそこまで気を遣えるのだろうと感心しちゃいます。
　私が今一番話したいことはやっぱりバスケットボールのことです(笑)11月中旬からシーズンがｽﾀｰﾄして、今とても大事な試合を控えています。負ければシーズンオーバーです。スポーツの世界はどこも残酷ですよね…というのも私はチームメイトが大好きだし、週３回ペースの忙しい試合スケジュールも何だかんだいって大好きなので、終わってほしくないんです。スターターとして結構試合に出してもらえるようになり、3Pシュート決めてきたらみんな笑顔でGood job Himari!!!とハイタッチや私のお団子ヘアをタッチしてきます。ホームゲームのときの会場の盛り上がり具合は試合をしていてとても気持ちがいいです(笑)　ついこの間シーズン継続がかかった大事な試合がありました。すごい接戦で…結果私たちが勝利したのですが、試合終了のブザーと共に勝った安心からか泣いちゃいました(笑)みんな私を囲んでハグしてくれました。本当にこのチームが大好きです。バスケ部に入ったおかげで女子から男子まで交友関係が凄い広がりました。試合の次の日は何点得点したかいつもみんな聞いてきます(笑)　さらに、地域の新聞にもう4回以上は載ったと思います。感謝ですね。ってまだシーズンは終わってないので、１日でも長くバスケが出来るように頑張り続けようと思います。
　最後に本当にびっくりというか唖然としちゃった出来事が最近ありました。男子バスケ部の一人が、練習中にダンクすると見事にリングが壊れたんです!!!もちろんガラスは落ちてくるし、リング(フープ)は地面にあるし….　私はただただ”え？ウソでしょ”という感じでした(笑)　しかし、ここで陽気なアメリカンボーイズはもうダンスし始めたり、歌いだしたり、ハイテンションです…　壊した本人は記念撮影です(笑)　アメリカらしいなって思いました(笑)

Hey I’m himari from Jackson, AL. How are y’all going?? I still can’t believe this report is already the third one. I am always thinking that I need more time… a year is really short!!! I just want to tell people who are gonna go study abroad I swear this is true…you must make much of time. Time is money… anyway I have many stories from my second report so I don’t know what I should tell yall lol well… I know Christmas was one of the biggest events of all. I had never spent Christmas without snow before. That was kinda weird tho lol there were a lots of presents under the Christmas tree and me and my sister talked about like “Can you guess what it is” “Whose is the biggest box”. And also we decorated our house for Christmas. We got up at around 6 am Christmas morning then opened the presents. It was really fun and made me so happy. I got shoes, boots, some clothes, jewelry and so on. I was surprised that we don’t have a cake for dinner lol you know I ate too much tho… on the other hand, people in here didn’t care about New Year lol I thought so because I went to my friend’s house and a new year had already started while we played a game, talked or something like that. I really missed “Gakitsuka” at the time.
    We came back to school on 4th January I think. I need more break tho lol anyway the second semester had started so we got new classes, of course new classmates. I’m taking Human Body on 1st block, 11th grade English on 2nd, basketball practice on 3rd, and FACS on 4th. I think people around me are such a sweet and nice guys from the bottom of my heart for real. They explained more clearly when I couldn’t understand even if they are younger than me. They can understand about me lol I really proud of them.
    I want to tell yall about basketball so much. The season of that have stared since middle of November. And now we got very important game next week. If we lose that game, the season is over… I absolutely cry if we do. Because I love basketball, my sweet teammates and hard game schedule like three games in a week lol I will miss them. When I scored and came back bench, teammates gave me high-five or they touched my bon and said “Good job Himari”. I like home game because everyone including audience will get excited like they were standing, clapping their hands and calling my name when I made 3 points shot lol I felt like star player lol just joking I’m not lmao we did the game which is also very important one for us. And that was really close game. We won anyway but I cried after the game because I can’t play basketball with them anymore if we lost so I was happy and relieved lol teammates gave me hug and said why are you crying? Are you happy? It’s okay Himari we won!! (o^-^o) that’s why I love this team. And also thanks to basketball, I could make many friends. The day after the game, we always talked about how many we scored lol Anyway the season isn’t over yet so I’ll do my best.           Finally, I really want to tell you this story. The other day, one of the basketball boys broke the basketball ring lmao I thought he tried to dunk lol I was like oh my gosh… are you kidding me!?!? when I saw it. I was very surprised anyway lol
