アメリカに留学中の大内田　麗さんから第二回目の留学報告が届きました。

みなさんこんにちは！アメリカに来てから早くも4か月経ちました。

札幌はとても寒そうですが、12月なのに私のいるところは暖かいです（笑）

雪は一切降らないらしいので雪が嫌いな私にとってとても嬉しいです。

さてさて二回目のレポートは学校の事をメインでお話ししたいと思います。

授業は最近だいぶん聞き取れるようになりましたが、最初は本当に大変でした。特にUSヒストリーはまったくわからず、難しい宿題ばかりで夜中までかかり寝不足が続いてました。

ですが今はどうしてもわからなかったら友達とホストファミリーに助けてもらいながらどうにか頑張ってます。

また、授業中携帯をいじってたり、食べ物を食べたり、音楽を聴いたりなど日本と違いがありすぎて毎日混乱しています（笑）

私がアメリカに来てわかったことは、黙っていても誰も日本と違って助けてくれないことです。私は日本にいるときからあまり話さない方だったので、慣れない英語で話す事は私にとってとても勇気が必要でした。なので1週間ぐらい話さない期間がありました。

話さなかったら何も変わらない。そこで私は頑張って話してみると、友達が自然にでき英語を話す機会が増えました。毎日が修行です（笑）

でも楽しいことももちろんありましたよ～！ハロウィンは仮装してたくさんお菓子をもらいに行きました！リアルなハロウィンを体験できて嬉しかったです。

ハリウッドで行われたホームカミングパーティーは友達とダンスをしてとても楽しかったです。

また、クワイヤーのパフォーマンスがディズニーカリフォルニアアドベンチャーでありました！パフォーマンスのあと無料で遊べて幸せでした！

留学は自分にとって貴重な経験になると思います。　正直、自分の思うように英語があまり話せません。ですが、何が起こっても諦めません。

自分を支えてくれている人達の感謝の気持ちを忘れずにこれからの留学生活も頑張ります。

あと、1月にラスベガスで団体とソロでダンスの大会があるのでそれも頑張ります！

Hi guys!  4month has passed since I came to America. Sapporo looks very cold now, but they don’t have snow in California. I don’t like snow.  That’s why it is good for me.

Anyway, I talk mainly about school. I’m getting used to English, but it was hard for me at the beginning.

Especially, US history is very hard for me and then I wasn’t getting enough sleep.

Now, my friends and host family help me.

Also, there was difference between Japan and America such as use a phone, eat food or listen to music during class. I was confused.

One thing that I learned in America is nobody talk to me when I keep silent.

I’m shy, so I needed courage to talk to people. I didn’t talk to people about a week at school.

Nothing will change unless I talk. I tried to talk then I have got new friends and I had any opportunities to speak English.

Of course I had fun things. Halloween was very fun!! I dressed up as zombie police, then I went to trick or treating, then I got a lot of candy. It was a good experience.

I went to homecoming party that was held at Hollywood. I had a good time to danced with my friends.

Also, I went to Disney California Adventure for choir performance. I hung out with my friends after performance. Moreover ticket was free. I was very excited.

Studying abroad will be a valuable experience. Honestly, I cannot still speak much English but I never give up no matter what happens.

I keep trying hard with gratitude to everyone.

Then I have a dance competition in January. I have solo and team, so I’ll do my best!!
