アメリカコロラド州のバートハウンド高校に留学中の早弓結菜さんから第1回目の留学報告が届きました。

こんにちは！結菜です。お元気ですか。私は元気です。アメリカに来てから1ヶ月半が経ちました。時間が経つのは速いです！

CCIのキャンプではとても楽しい時を過ごしました。友達がたくさん出来ましたし、動物園やウォーター・パーク、ショッピングなど、たくさんの場所を訪問しました。そこでのホストファミリーともいい関係が築けたのではないかと思います。彼らは私をミュージカルやブラック・ライト・ラン、ラクロス、映画などに連れて行ってくれました。私もホストシスターやブラザーと一緒に折り紙を折りました。日本からのお土産をあげた時には、ブラザーが「サンタさんが夏にやって来た！」と言って喜んでくれたので、私も嬉しくなりました。

今はキャンプを終え、バートハウンド高校に通っています。先生や生徒は私にとても優しくしてくれます。もう友達もできて、そのうちの１人はフランスからの留学生です。彼女と私は一緒に演技技術という授業を取っています。私の留学の目的のひとつがアメリカで演技をすることだったので、とても嬉しいですし、私はこのクラスが大好きです。それからジャズやクワイアのクラスも楽しいですよ。

新しいホストファミリーとも仲よくできています。ホストマザーは以前日本に交換留学生として来ているので、留学生の気持ちを良く理解してくれます。私は今のホストファミリーも大好きです。

先週大きなウォーター・パークに行って、そこに9時間もいたんですよ。とても楽しかったです。「国際食フェスタ」に参加して、ファミリーと一緒にいなり寿司を作りました。とても美味しくて、楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。ホストシスターと一緒にアイルランド舞踊も習い始めました。楽しいです！

幸運にも、研修地と派遣先が同じコロラド州なんです。私はコロラドが大好きです！きっとこのコロラドが、私の第2の故郷になると思います。

Hi! I’m Yuna. How are you? I’m good. One and a half month has passed since I came to the U.S.  I feel that time flies!

I had a great time for Camp of CCI. I could made many friends and I went to many places (Zoo, Water park, Shopping…). I think I could build a good relationship with home stay family. They took me to Musical, Black Light Run, lacross, Movie and so on. Also, I made many origami with host sister and host brother. When I gave them gifts from Japan, brother said “Santa Claus comes in summer!” I was really happy. 

Now, I finished a camp and I go to Berthoud High School. Teachers and Students are nice to me. I could make friends and one of my friend is exchange student from France.  She and I have Acting Techniques class. One of my purpose to go to study abroad is to act in America, so I’m so happy and I like Acting class. And I have Jazz class and Chior class and I like them too. 

Also I can make a good relationship with new host family too. My host mother had been in Japan as exchange student so she understands exchange student’s feeling. I love my host family! Last week, we went to big water park and we were in there for 9hours! It was sooo fun! And we joined “International food festival”. I made Inarizushi with family.  It was so good and we had a good time. And I started learning Irish dance with host sis. I like that! 

Fortunately, the place of camp and dispatch area are same, in Colorado. I love Colorado! I’m sure that Colorado will be my another sky:)
