東本梨湖の留学レポート

 

I went to Australia for study abroad during summer vacation. 5F stayed in Adelaide, Australia. This place is countryside so air is clear and we could see billions of stars. At that very moment, we could saw lunar eclipse, but I couldn’t have got up so I was very sad. I made memories with my new friends and host family. I could learn about Australian culture and English. My host family is very kind people. They have two dogs and 10 chickens and there are host mates at my host house. They are Chinese and Vietnamese. We shared the bathroom. My host mother was good at cooking so she always made me happy. I got fat LOL. She told me to how to get to school by bus. In addition, she likes colorful birds. She looks happy when she found it. My host father is engineering who is so smart. I couldn’t understand mathematics class then he taught me how to do mathematics. He can play the piano. It was fun when I played the piano together. I went shopping, park, and zoo with them. I saw some Australian animals for the first time at zoo. For instance, koala, kangaroo, dingo, emu, and camel etc. I held a koala in one’s arms. The koala was very cute and quiet. My favorite time was tea time after dinner. We drink tea or coffee while we are talking with everyone. I went to Norwood Morialta High School. At first, I was very nervous because I thought that school is very scary, but NOT at all. My school life was excited. It because my new friends were nice and interesting. I made some friends. My buddy was Vietnamese. She was 15 years’ old who is very reliable. I had a lot of classes. My favorite classes are science, food and culture, and art. If you had a food and culture class, you can make a cook every day. I made some dishes. Almost Australian school is using a laptop in class. I borrowed it from school, but other students have own laptop. I like which use a laptop in class. We can play badminton every Tuesday since pm7:00. I had played badminton once. I went the beach, city, skate, bowling, laser game, and sometimes I had a dinner with my new friends. Especially, I often hanged out with two boys and Rion. We took a lot of photos so it’s difficult for me chose three photos for this report. We met up at Gong Cha where popular place from my school students. When last school day, my friends had our farewell party. I felt like eating Korean food so we went to the Korean food restaurant with them. It was last night in Adelaide. I couldn’t believe it. I learned some Australian culture. First, school rules aren’t strict so many girls make up, changed hair, and they are wear very short skirt. I like this rules. I experienced an Australian school style so I felt good. We can’t experience this style in Japan. Second, we go to outside when we eat lunch. Australia is winter so it isn’t comfortable. I was glad that I could learn Australian culture. I always thought I don’t want to go back to Japan so I wish I could didn’t want to go back to Japan because my Australian life was awesome! It was valuable experiment for me to spend in Adelaide. I want to go to Australia again and I want to see you guys.

 

私たち５Fは夏休み中にオーストラリアにあるアデレードに１か月間、留学に行ってきました。アデレードは、オーストラリアの中でも田舎だと思います。空気が綺麗で、夜空にはたくさんの星がありました。私は、オーストラリアでたくさんの思い出を作ることができたし、文化や英語を学ぶことができました。私のホストファミリーは、マザーとファザーと中国人とベトナム人の留学生の４人でした。庭には犬が２匹と鶏が１０羽近くいました。家の中では、留学生用のバスルームを留学生と共有していました。私のマザーは、料理が上手で、たまらなく美味しく、結構太りました（笑）学校登校する前日に、マザーが学校に行くまでの道を教えてくれました。マザーは、カラフルな鳥が大好きで、動物園で見つけたときに、はしゃいでいました。ファザーは、エンジニアで頭が良く、私が数学の授業を理解できなかったと言うと、わかるまで丁寧に教えてくれました。（気づけば２時間も！）そして、ファザーはピアノを弾くことができるので、私はいろいろな曲を教えてもらいながら一緒に弾きました。私は、ファミリーと動物園、公園、買い物に行きました。動物園では、オーストラリアに生息する動物をたくさん見ることができました。コアラを抱っこしたときは、可愛すぎて放したくなかったです。公園では、ワイルドコアラを見ることができました。私の家での好きな時間は、夕食の後に、ティーを飲みながらテレビを見たり、会話したりすることでした。私のホストファミリーはとても親切で私を家族の一員にしてくれました。時々、マザーとファザーの孫にあたる子供たちが遊びに来ました。まだ小さくてとても可愛かったです。私の通っていた学校はノーウッドモリアルタハイスクールです。私たちは、year10という学年に加わったので、みんな年下でした。初日はすごく不安でしたが、いざ行ってみると、そんなことありませんでした。私の学校生活は楽しかったです。なぜなら、生徒たちは優しくて、面白い人がたくさんいたからです。私のバディーは１５歳の女の子でした。彼女は、とてもしっかりしていました。この学校は、毎週水曜日が午前授業で、その他の曜日は、８時間授業でした。８時間といっても、日本とは違い、各授業に休み時間はなく、３０分間の休み時間と４０分のランチタイムでした。キャンティーンがとても充実していました。授業は、ラップトップを使いました。課題の内容から提出物、そして連絡はすべてラップトップでのやり取りでした。しかし、授業によっては使わないこともありました。この学校では、毎週火曜日にバドミントンをすることができます。（19:00～22:00）私は、一回だけ行きました。平日や週末には友達とCITY、スケート、ボーリング、レーザーゲーム、ビーチ、に行きました。時々、ディナーをすることもありました。特によく遊んだのが、同じ学校に通っていた子と現地の男の子２人です。私たちはたくさんの写真を撮りました。遊ぶ時の待ち合わせ場所は、必ずと言っていいほど、gong cha の前のテラスでした。そして、遊びに行く前にそこで飲み物を買うことが当たり前で、正直そこの飲み物は飲み飽きました（笑）最終日には、特に仲良くしてくれた友達がお別れ会を開いてくえました。別れの際は、悲しくて帰りたくない気持ちでいっぱいでした。私のオーストラリアでの生活は、本当に素敵なものとなりました。またの機会にオーストラリアに行きたいです。
